HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION: short instructions Detail Instructions

1) You should have a minimum party of 12 players to make a reservation.
We do not host parties of less than 10 players. Our specialty is: Private Parties for Private Groups. We do not mix you into someone else�s Private Party. We do not mix strangers into your Private Party.

2) Choose a day to play. We are open by RESERVATION ONLY (no walk-ins) 7 days a week, from April 1st to December 16th.

3) Choose a Session to play. (custom sessions may be available on request)
Morning: 8:00 am to 12:30 pm
Afternoon: 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm
Full Day: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

4) Choose an Equipment Package to use.
Choose appropriate Morning, Afternoon, or Full Day Premium or Basic Equipment Packages below

5) Contact our Reservation Office 4 to 30 days prior to your play date.

6) Be prepared to secure your play date with a minimum deposit of $20. per person.
(We do not accept or process credit cards of any kind at any time for any reason).

a) personal or business check received 14 days prior to your play date
b) cashier�s check, bank check, or money order received 7 days prior to your play date
c) wire transfer or electronic funds transfer received 7 days prior to your play date
d) direct cash (green paper money) deposit into our bank account 3 days prior to your play date

How to Organize a Private Paintball Outing: Detail Instructions  short instructions

A private paintball outing is an exhilarating and fun event for you and your friends, family, or co-workers! Paintball is great for birthday outings, bachelor parties, family reunions, corporate and church outings, and father-son days. It's great for creating camaraderie! This "how to" article is specifically written by our staff, with 22 years of experience hosting events like yours, to help you get your event off the ground as simply and painlessly as possible. We strongly suggest you take their advice!

1) START THE BALL ROLLING - Do you have 11 friends, co-workers, or family that want to play paintball? You need a group of 12 players to make the required reservation. We specialize in private groups (you and your friends playing each other, supervised by our staff, no strangers involved).

You, as group organizer, will phone or email your potential participants. Perhaps post a flyer on the bulletin board at work, school, Church, Temple, or Mosque.

Ideally, you want to invite a minimum of 24 people to your event. If you don't know 24 people, perhaps some of your friends can invite some of their friends. Not everyone invited will be available to attend, or be interested. That's why you should invite 24 people, to insure that you'll meet the minimum requirement of a 12 person group. If you wind up with more than 12 guests, the more the merrier!

2) CHOOSE A DATE FOR YOUR EVENT - The most popular time to play is on Saturday afternoons in Spring and Autumn. If you are interested in playing during these seasons it is crucial to organize your event 2 to 4 weeks in advance to insure that your date will be available.

Although occasionally a date can be secured in as little as 7 days in advance, generally the more lead time you have between contacting us to and the date you want to play, the more likely you will be of actually pulling the event off.

3) CHOOSE A SESSION (morning, afternoon, full day) FOR YOUR EVENT - Are you and your friends gung-ho twenty-somethings that are in shape? Or are you a bunch of thirty plus-somethings that have been sitting behind a desk for too long? A rule of thumb: older, out of shape people should aim for a half day session (morning or afternoon). Younger, in shape people can manage to survive a full day. A full day session starts at 8:30am and ends at 4:30pm. A morning session starts at 8:30am and ends at 12:00 noon. An afternoon session starts at 1:00pm and ends at 4:30.

4) CHOOSE THE EQUIPMENT YOU WANT TO RENT - You've never been paintballing before. So how do you know what equipment you need? A lot depends on what you can afford. A general basic rule of thumb: it will cost each person a bare minimum of $50. for a half day, and a bare minimum of $100. for a full day. We have several Admission Packages in this range. 5) QUALIFY YOUR GUESTS - Are they really interested in attending, or are they just mildly interested in paintball maybe one of these days? In our experience, there is only one way to make sure someone is really interested. You need to collect their payment in advance.

If the people who have shown interest in participating can not afford the fees, or seem reluctant to make payment to you in advance, you need to search elsewhere to fill out your minimum requirement of 12 players.

50% of all event organizers fail to collect the required advance payment from their guests, and their event gets cancelled. Collecting the payments in advance is the hardest step in organizing your event.

6) BOOK YOUR EVENT - OK, you've found 12 people who are really interested in paintball, can afford it, and are willing to pay in advance. You have all agreed on the date you want to play. You know what session you want. You know what Admission Packages, equipment and supplies everybody wants. Now it's time to phone us (973-838-7493) or email us info@NJPaintball.com and give us the details. If the date and session of your choice is still available, (dates sometimes book out 2 to 4 weeks in advance), we'll write all your information down, type it all up into a contract, and submit that contract to you for your approval. The contract will contain the bottom line payment we need to receive to secure your play date. We'll pencil you into the calendar while we are waiting to receive your payment.

7) SEND IN PAYMENT - When we worked up your contract, you were penciled into our calendar. Until we actually have your payment, we can not ink you into the calendar. That means it is possible some other group, interested in the exact same date as you, might get their payment in before you and book you out of your date!

It is critical to get your payment to us as quickly as possible once you have received your contract!

We do not accept credit cards at any time!

So what are your payment options?
A) Send us a check. Checks need to be received and deposited at least 14 days before your play date in order to give your bank and our bank plenty of time to process the transaction. Contrary to popular belief, checks do not clear in 3 days! According to our bank manager and our accountant, it sometimes takes up to 10 business days for a check to clear.
B) Send us a Money Order. Money orders need to be received at least 7 days before your play date.
C) Send us a Cashier's Check. Cashier's Checks need to be received at least 7 days before your play date.
D) Hand deliver a money payment. Money payments need to be hand delivered to the playing site on a weekend, or to a your local branch of our bank during weekday banking hours. If you're going to visit the playing site, you need to call or email us first and make an appointment, or you will not be admitted through our security gate. If you are going to visit a branch of our bank, you need to call or email us first to get our banking information. Cash payments need to be received at least 7 days before your play date.

8) CONFIRM YOUR BOOKING - When we have received your payment, you will get inked into our calendar. We will confirm your booking by contacting you by phone, email, or both. You will be sent an IMPORTANT Checklist that you should read carefully and distribute to all of your guests. If there are any questions you have about your event, any last minute changes that need to be made, any adjustments to your plans, you need to make them now, before you arrive to play paintball. The staff at the playing site are not authorized to make or negotiate any changes or alterations to your contract!

9) CONGRATULATIONS! You have successfully organized a paintball outing! Now go out there and have fun!
